Our Team

The highly motivated team is led by professionals with over a decade of experience in the chiral technologies (asymmetric synthesis), sugar chemistry, peptide synthesis, heterocyclic synthesis, steroids. Working in both academic research and industrial research teams, our members were involved in development of new chemical technologies and process chemistry solutions for leading Indian and foreign multinational pharmaceutical companies. The extensive experience team has gained working in CRAMS and CMO industries will help us to provide you end to end solutions for your needs.

Dr. Namdev Vatmurge

Director
Dr. Namdev Vatmurge is the founding director at Vikalp Chemtech & started Vikalp Chemtech in 2014 with an aim to commercialize acquired domain knowledge in the field of organic synthesis and catalysis. He has over two decades of research experience in the field of synthetic organic chemistry. He received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from National Chemical Laboratory (NCL) Pune, India. He has worked as a post-doctoral researcher at Noyori Material Science Laboratory, Nagoya University, Japan.

Dr. Pandurang Chouthaiwale

Director
Dr. Chouthaiwale is the Director, in Vikalp Chemtech Pvt Ltd. and he’s been associated with the company since 2017. Dr Chouthaiwale received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry in 2011 from National Chemical Laboratory (NCL) Pune. He was awarded Best Research Scholar 2010-2011 and Dr. Rajappa award for bestorganic chemistry paper at NCL Pune. He was Five yearPostdoctoral Researcher in Prof. F. Tanaka Unit, Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) at Okinawa Japan. He has more than 20 years of experience in the field of synthetic organic Chemistry, and more than 28 international publications including five US patents and one Indian patents to his credit.

Dr. Nagendra Kondekar

Director
Dr. Nagendra joined Vikalp chemtech in 2017. He has over two decades of experience in the field of organic chemistry. Prior to joining Vikalp Chemtech, he has extensively worked in both industrial and academic settings. He obtained his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from National Chemical Laboratory (NCL) Pune and conducted post-doctoral research in Taiwan. He has worked as a research scientist at Formosa laboratories Taiwan. During his two decades of work experience he has presented his work in international conferences in the USA, China and Taiwan.
